Today (19th April 2025) marks the 81st anniversary of the loss of Lancaster ND475 in an Eastrea field, and the first anniversary of the placing of a memorial to the 8 men who died, seven of whom remain in that field as their bodies could not be recovered.

I have placed a new wreath on the memorial to their sacrifice in Eastrea to mark the occasion.
